Is Classic Protein or Low Carb best for me?
Is Classic Protein or Low Carb best for me?
In short:
- Low Carb: Ideal for strict low-carb diets.
- Classic Protein: Best for everyone else.
Our Low Carb products are specifically crafted for customers following strict low-carb, keto, or diabetic-friendly diets.
If you’re not on such a diet, we recommend our Classic Protein line. Most customers prefer its taste and texture, which are closer to traditional pasta.
Both product lines are made from premium lupins, are gluten-free, high in protein and fiber, low glycemic, and plant-based. The key difference is that the Classic Protein line includes Brazilian cassava flour, adding some complex carbs.

Tired of konjac and zucchini noodles? So were we.
I'm thrilled to introduce the world's first ever lupin spaghetti! When it came to low carb spaghetti alternatives, the slimy konjac based noodles and vegetable based options (like zucchini and squash) just weren’t satisfying our craving for traditional spaghetti. It took nearly 2 years, and many trials and tribulations, but we were finally able to craft a low carb noodle that has more of classic spaghetti taste and texture compared to other low carb options. Not only is this spaghetti low in carbs, but it’s also high in protein and fiber - a trifecta you won’t find in any other spaghetti product!
I personally use this product on low carb days if I’m carb cycling. If you love spaghetti and you’re following a low carb, keto, or low glycemic diet, then this is for you!

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between the Low Carb and Protein Spaghetti?
What’s the difference between the Low Carb and Protein Spaghetti?
It’s simple. Both products are high in protein, fiber and essentially nutrients, but our low carb spaghetti is crafted for those following a low carb, keto, or low glycemic diet. While you should check with your doctor, our low carb spaghetti is also better suited for diabetics.
If you’re not following a low carb diet, then our Protein Spaghetti is probably a better option for you. Compared to our Low Carb Spaghetti, the Protein Spaghetti more closely resembles traditional spaghetti since it contains more nutrient dense complex carbs.
Why is this more expensive than traditional spaghetti?
Why is this more expensive than traditional spaghetti?
Because you get so much more nutritional value compared to traditional spaghetti. Our spaghetti is a nutrient dense meal for less than $2 per serving. Each serving is packed with 18g of protein, 14g gut friendly prebiotic fiber, amino acids, essential vitamins and minerals, and so much more! Our spaghetti is highly satiating too and a single box can feed a family of 4. We don’t cut any corners when it comes to producing our products. We use premium lupins sourced directly from farms in Australia and we don’t use any filler flours or processed starches like other lupin pasta companies do.
So while you pay more for our spaghetti compared to others, you also get more protein, fiber and essential nutrients in your meals :)
Is your spaghetti gluten free?
Is your spaghetti gluten free?
Yes! Our spaghetti is made from certified gluten free ingredients and is manufactured in a certified gluten free facility.
Do you have a money back guarantee?
Do you have a money back guarantee?
Absolutely! Within 30 days of purchase, you can return your pasta order for any reason and for a full refund. No questions asked!
Any cooking tips?
Any cooking tips?
Yes! Like all gluten free pastas, our spaghetti can sometimes become sticky and clump together (especially when cooled). To prevent this try rinsing the spaghetti in lukewarm water shortly after straining and add a bit of olive oil. You can also save some pasta water and add it into your sauce to improve moisture absorption and prevent the spaghetti from drying out (legumes like lupin can absorb a lot of water). Our spaghetti is best when eaten shortly after cooking. Got any more tips? Let us know at hello@chefskiss.co.
Is this really the first ever lupin spaghetti?
Is this really the first ever lupin spaghetti?
As far as we know, yes! While we’ve seen some at home recipes posted on blogs, this is the first ever commercialized lupin spaghetti product!
Are Lupins an allergen?
Are Lupins an allergen?
The FDA does not require Lupins to be listed as a top 8 allergen. However, Lupins are a legume related to peanuts. People with peanut allergies are at a higher risk of allergic reactions to Lupin. Although not everyone with a peanut allergy will react to Lupins, studies show that cross-reactivity can occur.
