The how to:
STEP 1 :
Combine all the spices in a small bowl and set aside. Combine all the cheese ingredients in a separate bowl and set aside.
STEP 2:
Preheat oven to 375°F. While the oven heats up, cook the Chef’s Kiss Pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water (5 mins max as this will continue to cook in the oven), stir immediately and expect a bit of foam. Drain the pasta with running cold water to prevent it from cooking any further and set aside.
STEP 3:
Melt the butter in a large oven safe skillet (cast-iron preferred!) over medium heat. Once butter has melted add in the dry seasoning mixture. Whisk the seasoning and butter for about 1 minute. Slowly add the heaving whipping cream and continue to whisk for about 4 minutes, do not allow it to boil.
STEP 4:
Add ¾ of the cheese mixture to the skillet (reserving some to top off the dish) and continue to stir until very smooth. Once the cheese has melted into the sauce and has a smooth consistency, add in the cooked pasta. Top off with the remaining cheese and bake in the oven for 25 minutes until the cheese looks golden brown. If you want a crispy top, add some more parmesan at the 20 minute mark and broil for 2 minutes!
